This is the Hook meaning it gets repeated over a couple times throughout song.

Really? How come the church is so complacent and allowing the world to preach to this generation about right and wrong? Where did the moral standard go?
Romans 12:2 says “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
The barrage of media and music from the world is helping shape the minds of the youth culture in and out of the church!!! Do your homework! Ask any youth in your church what they are rocking on their IPOD, you might be shocked? I would hope and pray that this is not the case but sadly enough many churches, schools, and parents have ignored the hip hop culture and wrote it off as little more than a phase.
The church simply thinks it can ignore the world and it will change. Jesus engaged the culture around him, he was a revolutionary. Christ has given us countless examples of engaging the un-churched. Remember the Samarian woman at the well in John 4.
The Samarian woman was shocked that Jesus would even talk to her knowing the enmity between the Jews and Samaritans. Along with the fact she was and outcast with her own people due to her lifestyle. As Jesus ministered to her, he didn’t sugar coat the truth of her need to repent and turn from her sin.
As believers we are called to go into all the world and make disciples. If believers are only sharing Christ within the four walls of the church, how can this commission ever get accomplished? Youth programs need to be radical in there approach to reaching this generation without compromising the truth of God’s word. We are not talking about some watered down version of the gospel message where nothing changes. The Gospel of the Cross does not conform to our desires.
With millions of churches, why do Christian artists have such a difficult time getting and opportunity to share there gifts with ministries? Allow artists who are passionate about Christ and live what they proclaim help share the standard God has set for us.
“....so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” - Colossians 1:10 (ESV)
Ministries need to become relevant, the scripture hasn’t changed.
Hebrews 13:8 - “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
You have to ask yourself, “What can I do to help this generation find out what it means to be a true follower of Christ?”, so they want more of what Christ has to offer. Talk to your ministry leaders or school administrators about booking a new generation of revolutionaries.

My Thoughts may seem random...they're not....

So we have a only a few days left before America is introduced to it's new president. Some of you are in an uproar about the good ol' "Maverick" and the other half of you are excited about "Change". Alot a' yall don't care who's elected as long as the economic state of our country improves.
With any political shift, many are placing their total confidence in those that are in the race to make our lives better. Some cats really believe that as soon as we get a new president the world is going to finally be right side up. I'm impresed with both canidates in alot of ways and i do believe we need a changing of the gaurd. God gave man dominion to rule the Earth so I got no beef with filling the voting booths and supporting whoever you think is right for the Job. The issue i have is how amazingly distracted believers are during this process of election. You hear saints saying things about these two canidates like either one of them has all power in Heaven and in Earth. I see believers more proud to put Obama or Mcain on a Tshirt then to witness about Christ on their Jobs. I'm seein cats myspace pages screamin' about "hope" now that a man is bringing it to you. Jesus Christ is and always has been the Hope of Glory. Life doesn't start when we get a new president. It starts when you except Christ. Jesus said i come that you might have life and that more abundantly. He gives us assurance that even in a time of famine, lack, instability or economic struggle that he would supply our need according to his riches in Glory. His desire is that we would opperate in his kingdom system and never put our trust in the political system. Politics are man made. You must remember that anything made by man has the potential to fail. Niether canidate can keep every promise they make but God is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent. Jesus promises us that he is the true definition of stabilty when he says I am the same yesterday, today, and forever! Vote for who you want. I truly hope the New Commander and Chief does well but Christians need to remember who's King. God is in Control.... Beef wit it if you want to. Thas' what it is.
I think we've all been a lil' politically side tracked. Where as we do want to make our voices heard through our votes we must remember that we are in the Last of the last days. The Church Must Rise up! Sexual immorality is plaguing our land like never before. Violence, Rasicm, hate, Corrupt Leadership, Famine, and media have gone wild. I see yall holdin up your political party signs, but where are the blood stained banners?
I looked past the race for president today and saw somthing crazy........So Beyonce has officially given in to the SPIRIT Sasha that she says controls her on stage and has publically announced she want's to be called Sasha Fierce. Suma yall will probably get mad right here but im that dude that aint scared of you so whateva. I Got nothing but Love for Beyonce's Soul and i want it for the Kingdom. I believe she is a Worship leader BOUND by a demonic Stronghold. Think about it. She's able to move crowd where ever she goes. Her videos put u n a trance. The Girl is massively gifted. She's a worship Leader. She's just leading people to worship the wrong thing. God want's her to lead worship for him. It's a Saul to Paul scenario. If the Saint's would stop tryna get and autograph from her and other secular artist....or the Gospel artist who are around them would stop tryna get a feature and witness we could get them into the kingdom. This is not about talent. Beyonce's got tons of it. This is not about Beauty. She's Fine! This is about a major role model to the youth of this generation openly saying i want my Demon to lead me. The word Fierce means ViolentEnergy, rage, savage, cutthroat. Come on yall. And here you flakey cats Go with the "Don't judge" card cause you think tha's noble. Like I said... I love B and i want her Soul for the Kingdom but if you think ima sit back and let her boast about being under the influence of a spirit and ima be quiet.... man take that on somewhere! AND NO...i don't believe its a marketing ploy. Thas' what the devil wants yall to believe. That nothing is spiritual. I have two daughters who are young and are effected by media just like all the rest of us. I will not have them or any of the youth i pastor boasting about not wanting to be themselves but wanting to be controlled by another spirit. The Word of God declares that I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE AND MY SOUL KNOWETH RIGHT WELL. God doesnt want you to compromise who you are. He wants you to be complete in Him. It's in him that we move, we breath, we live ,and we have our being. Jesus encountered numerous people who were under the influence of other spirits and when he cast those spirits out, some of the people who were deliverd went on to do great things for the Kingdom. Beyonce...my prayers are comming for you and that spirit. Before this is over you will be a Kingdom Citizen leading Gods people in worship. I prophecy that in JESUS NAME! Mad?.....whateva
I ain't never been no pretty boy who was popular with the girls, or some cool cat who stood out in the crowd. Thus i don't care much about ppls opinion. I care about seeing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ manifested on Earth and the Devil Defeated. Later for HollyWood... i wanna make God proud....I FEAR NOTHING

Jesus:The Christ

Jesus, sound familar? Everybody says that they know Him. How do you know if you really know Him? The truth is, in Luke 13:24-30 Jesus describes the time when many people on the last will be told by the Lord that, He never knew them. This is one of the most terrifying passages of scripture. For you to have evangelized, cast out demons and did many works in the name of the Lord and for Him to tell you that He never knew you? Spooky right? The reason why the Lord said He never knew these people was because, their entire career in ministry wasnt for Him, it was for themselves. Telling God's people what they want to hear instead of the truth. Alot of big name pastors are doing this RIGHT NOW. You don't know Him because you say so. Look at your life, does your life increasingly reflect the Lord Jesus? I have to remind myself of this on a daily basis. We only have one shot to get this right and I cant waste my life, what about you? Theres nothing else to live for but Jesus. In 2nd Corinthians it says:Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?. This is serious people, really ask yourselves do you really know Him. Are you continuing to sin, are you not sensative to sin? Very important questions to ask yourselves, this determines where your soul will go. God loves you and He's offered His only Son for a sacrifice for our sins, how great a God we serve!! You can be redeemed but dont be decieved, 1st John 2:4 says that, He who says I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in Him. Are you walking in darkness?

Why Christian Rap Griff?

Alot of people have asked me in the past like, J, why Christian Rap? I mean does Christian rap sell? Ok, let me ask all of you who are wondering the same thing. Why is music, any kind of music about sells? Can it for once be about the heart of a person or his or her music? Probably not in our day. But as for me, I'm a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and I'm obligated to do all things to the glory of God. "1st Cor 10:31". I've also heard brothers tell me like, J, just because you're a Christian it doesnt mean that you need to stop doing "regular hiphop" you're taking it to far. See thats problem right there. Why is it unheard of for a person to give everything to God? What suprises me is that, its a number a secular artist who claim to be believers but their music speaks something diffrent. What I mean is, thier music is going against everything that God loves. By doing music that exploits women, encourages drugs, alcohol and pre marital sex, you're telling the world I do my music for Satan, because thats what he stands for. God doesnt have anything to do with those things, so dont thank him at the award shows! Now, I would be a hypocrite if I'm not living what I'm saying. I just want you all to really open your eyes, especially artist, poets etc. By me doing my music for God, I'm showing Him that I'm giving back what He gave me from the beginning. Now, I'm not saying that all have to do Christian music, but if you are a Christian, make sure whatever it is you do, do to bring Glory to God. Phillipians 4:8 is the best place to start.

Whats good people, I wanted to tell you about my next project, The Journey Collection. Its my first instrumental album. I want you guys to vibe with me as a producer and not just an artist. When it comes to music, I have the most respect for artist's and producers who can do something diffrent. With this album, I wanted not to just make a hiphop beat tape, but an album. My vision for this project is just freedom, and being able to enjoy pure music. There is no samples on this album at all. Everything you here is original. I'm so blessed to share my gift that God gave me with you and I hope you enjoy it. October 28,2008 is when this project drops.
